NYFingerLakes-L is a discussion list for researching Cayuga, Ontario, Schuyler, Seneca, Tioga, Tompkins, Wayne and Yates Counties. While the list is primarily a genealogical research tool, discussions also include lore and memories of the Finger Lakes area.
List subscribers are affectionately referred to as "FLakes," an abbreviated version of the list name and not in any way a reflection on our ancestors or our mental capacities.
